When the time came for Eudes Santillan of Guadalajara, Mexico to close down her thrift store, the single mother of two teenagers tried desperately to sell a beautiful pair of shoes. This money would enable her to buy the new pair of work shoes that she needed.

Two months passed and still Eudes could not sell the shoes. But God had a different plan. He asked Eudes to give them away to someone who needed them. Venturing into the city, Eudues began to seek out the new owner of these beautiful shoes. God led Eudes to the girl He wanted to bless. The shoes fit her perfectly!

Eudes knew that now she wouldn't be able to afford the new shoes, but she also knew that she had been obedient to God. There was joy in sacrifice.

What Eudes didn't know, however, was that God also asked Joan Godard of the Matthew Team to step out in obedience. Having no knowledge of the situation, Joan took Eudes to a shoe store and bought her a new pair of shoes!
