As Carmen Owen serves the Lord with Team 2000 in Chonburi, Thailand, God has been giving her a deeper hunger to enter His presence with great expectations. God has promised that He will throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out His blessing! He is accomplishing just that in Chonburi.
A band ministering to the local Thai people in a cancer center offered life to those faced with despair. As they were setting up for the outreach, Carmen's heart cried out for these cancer patients. Where is their hope, she wondered? But when the band began to play, God began to move. The patients were touched and the glory of God came upon them. They were weeping, praying, and crying aloud to God, understanding for the first time that there was a place to find hope - in Jesus Christ.
