WHAT IS ON EACH DVD
This DVD is formatted to play on a North American DVD player (NTSC format). It has standard DVD video and audio files.

DVD #2 also includes a complete set of MOV (Quicktime) and AVI (Windows Media) digital video files that can be played from a computer. These digital files are English only and are stored in the root directory on the DVD.

HOW CAN YOU USE THIS DVD IN YOUR CHURCH SERVICE
***IMPORTANT: Please test this DVD in your equipment before the service to ensure that there are no technical issues. Please play the complete DVD selection from start to finish in your test. ***

Option (1) Using a DVD Player
If you have a DVD Player connected to your video projector, simply insert the DVD into the player and use your controls on the DVD player to select the month and then the language you want to play for the movie.

Option (2) Using a Computer with DVD Software
If you have a computer that has software installed (such as Win DVD) to play DVD movies, you can insert the DVD into your computer and start the DVD software. Use the Menu options to select the month and then the language you want to play for the movie.

Option (3) Using a Computer with Quicktime or Windows Media Player
If you have DVD #2, it is recommended that you insert the DVD into your computer and copy the required files to your local computer hard drive to ensure smooth playing of the video. Once copied to your local computer, you can embed the links to the video files into your service presentation software or you can just play the movie using Quicktime or Windows Media Player. For DVD #1, you must download the MOV files from this web site by clicking on the download tab for each of the monthly video stories.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SELECTING LANGUAGES ON THE DVD
The Shine On stories use language subtitles to enable this video to be used in settings where there are French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese speaking people. English subtitles are also used whenever dialog is in another language such as Portugese. It is important that you select the language to play the video with the proper subtitles. If you would like the English subtitles to appear in a video that has all English dialog, please select English from the menu. If you select PLAY, English subtitles will appear only if English is not being spoken in the video.

Each of the Shine On videos will be released on the video web site at the start of the appropriate month. Please direct members of your congregation to this site for more video stories related to the Shine On video of the month.
