Thailand 2006 Ministry Update (5:52)

Video Summary

God is redeeming the people of Thailand. In a country where 95% of the population are Buddhists, he is reaching groups with the hope of Jesus Christ and bringing the gospel to places where it's never been heard.

In 1992 missionary teams came to the Khmu people in North Thailand, a place where faith is found in spirits and rituals. When a witch doctor encountered the healing power of Jesus, she put her faith in Christ and never looked back.

In Chonburi, Team 2000's vision is to see healthy, reproducing churches planted among the Central Thai. The Life Center (TLC) is a vibrant church that was planted along the main road. The Abundant Life Home provides hope and future to the needy children of Thailand. God is using these ministries to reach out to neighbors and build relationships with the community. Team 2000 is seeing God transform lives!

After the tsunami in December 2004, Operation Rebuilding Lives was formed to rebuild homes and lives. Many came to Christ in Phuket. Operation 2nd Wave is following up in the affected region with healthy church plants.

God is stirring up a hunger and thirst for his name in Thailand, and our great hope is that we can continue to go into the areas where the gospel has not yet been heard by even one. Join us in praying ,or come see for yourself what God is doing in this least-reached area!
